About radioko

radioko is a directory of internet radio stations that you can play right in your browser, sorted by country, genre, region and language. There is no app to install and no account to create.

Sources

Station names, stream addresses and basic details come from Radio Browser (radio-browser.info), a community-maintained database of radio streams whose data is in the public domain. Station profiles (frequency, call sign, owner, year founded, website and social accounts) come from Wikidata (wikidata.org), whose data is free to use under CC0, when we can match a station with certainty. Streams, station names and logos belong to the stations.

What we add

We list only stations whose stream uses HTTPS and passed Radio Browser's last test, merge duplicate entries, and keep every station at the same address. If listeners' players keep failing on a stream and our own check confirms it, we hide the station until it works again. How we check stations explains the details.
